The Smell With Myriad of Nutritions

Many people love the Petai or Pete (Parkia speciosa) which is made sauce or fried as fresh vegetables. Despite making a bad breath odor, but this fruit contains three kind of natural sugars, those are sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. This combination is capable of providing an instant energy boost, but has long and good effect. It also contains vitamin B6, iron, potassium, and antacids. These components function as anti-cancer, depression recovery, blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, and premenstrual syndrome. Petai also contains anti-oxidants.

Bad breath is a risk that easy to overcome, but enjoying petai could not be get every day. So, what’s your option? 😀

  1. Nice pic and this food sounds as if it is something that is very good for you. Is eating the food worse than garlic breath? Is garlic used in Java? We eat it raw, pickled, and it is added to many dishes to make the food taste better. Garlic is added to food in many countries.

    1. I don’t know, I’m not sure does it worse or the same as garlic breath.. I don’t eat raw garlic.. but I heard some do that.. Normally we use garlic as a spice to make the food taste better.

    1. kalo aku sih biasanya trus gosok gigi.. kalo habis pipis diguyur yang banyak, gitu aja.. tapi kata mas Kris suruh minum kopi tubruk.. aku belom pernah nyoba. Kalo mbak Wiwik ga ada kopi kasih tau aku… siapa tau butuh nubruk apa gitu… hihihi.. 😀

    kalo habis maem petai terus maem jengkol yang banyak, sepertinya bau petainya ilang juga ya, mas. tapi ganti bau jengkooooool… hehehe
    dan lakukan sebaliknya ketika mau menghilangkan bau jengkol

  3. Makanan mewaah… jarang ada juga sih, apalagi sekarang, yg segar ngga boleh masuk lagi ke Jerman, embuh kenapa 😦
    Adanya yang beku, di eman-eman dibuat campuran sambel goreng kentang ati.

      1. Dulu pas awal nikah, istriku bikin lauk, dia bilang, yang ini jangan dimakan, asin. Tapi tetep aku makan sambil bilang, gak ada yang bisa masak masakan kayak gini selain kamu yank (aka rasanya tak terkatakan 🙂 )
