Pecel Madiun

Pecel Madiun is a unique culinary from Madiun, East Java. It serves the distinctive taste with peanut sauce. Although it looks fairly simple but it taste so good.

Pecel Madiun usually served with rice and various side dishes. It usually put in a plate or in a folded banana leaves called pincuk. This cuisine taste spicy.

There are some types of Pecel, depends on the region where its made. Oh, my friend said that Pecel is a Javanese salad.. 🙂

    1. sprouts, cabbage, raw papaya shavings, marigolds, spinach, flowers turi (?) all boiled. There are also marigolds and petai china (?)

      fried peanuts, red pepper, cayenne pepper, kencur (?), kaffir lime leaves, shrimp paste, brown sugar, salt and tamarind. All mashed, add water and stirred until smooth.

      1. Good grief. So little ingredients. (just joking) you have to buy half the market or here it would be the grocery store just to make that food (dish). I joke alot.
